Eddie Conna is a multiple award winning director with over 35 years in the entertainment industry. His current focus is on directing, as well as writing, and producing. Previously, he worked as a stunt coordinator, stuntman and actor, and has had a great and successful career with a long list of impressive credits.
Alien Hunger, the sci-fi, monster/alien horror film with a comedic edge he directed was a featured selection at 13 different film festivals, was nominated for 13 different awards, and won 9 of them.
Previously, he won both the "Breakthrough Director Spotlight Award" and the "People's Choice Award for Best Director" at the 2012 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival for "Hero of the Day", a drama feature he directed earlier that year. "Hero of the Day" also won the "Best Feature" and the "Audience Choice" Awards at the Independent Film Quarterly Film Festival in 2012, and was released by Cinelibre.
Eddie's experience in working on both mega budget films, as well as super low budget projects has given him the unique ability to bring the best of both worlds together.
He believes (and has proven more than once) that with proper planning, and by working efficiently, cost effectively, and with a talented and dedicated crew, a "smaller budget" project can look much bigger than it actually is.
